I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Religion, Philosophy and History at the University of Agder.

My main research interests are within ancient philosophy. I am particularly interested in questions concerning Aristotle's poetics, ethics, and biology. I have also done work on the Norwegian philosopher Peter Wessel Zapffe and on the history of philosophy more broadly. 

I obtained a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Oslo in 2020. Before that, I studied philosophy and classics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and at the Universities of Oslo and Vienna.
